Health at YAT
Nursing support, pathology collection, allied health assistance, and medical reception.
Allied health and nursing-support roles — assistant in nursing, pathology collector, medical receptionist, allied health assistant — are critical to how Victorian health services operate. Our courses combine classroom learning with simulated clinical practice in our health-sim spaces, and supervised placement in real health settings.
Cohorts are typically a mix of career changers from service or admin backgrounds, returning workers, and pathway students moving toward nursing or allied-health degrees. Trainers are practising clinicians or recent practitioners.
