Hospitality at YAT
Commercial cookery, patisserie, cafe operations, and hospitality management.
Melbourne's hospitality industry — restaurants, cafes, hotels, catering, function venues — needs trained chefs, pastry chefs, baristas, and hospitality managers. Our commercial kitchens are working teaching kitchens, with regular service to staff and visitors, so students cook for real diners, not just assessment plates.
The cohort spans visa holders, career changers, hospitality staff stepping up to qualified-chef status, and people pursuing the trade out of long-standing interest. Trainers are working or recent chefs and venue managers.
